Pray for One Another, Monday, December 13, 2010

Reading: Colossians 1:9, 12, 9For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

Challenge: Today, Pray for each other, either those who are in your group and/or the brothers in Christ that God brings to mind. Ask God “to fill [them] with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” Also, be sure to thank God for them.

So many times we are thankful for people because of what they do for us. Think through, individually, those men in your group or those that God has laid on your heart. Today, learn to be thankful for them, not for what they do for you but for the value that God has placed on them, that He sacrificed everything to “qualify [them] to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.”

Write the names of the men on the lines provided and then write how the Lord is leading you to pray for them. Continue to pray for them throughout the day.

REVIEW

Were you able to continuously pray for these men throughout the day?

Did God give you clear direction how to pray for them?

Were you able to make contact with those men to see how you can pray for them?

What did this produce in your day?
