Great Salvation
Reading:Hebrews 2:2-4, 2For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.
Men, I don’t expect for you to be a psychic, but take some time and write down where you might be or what you might be like or who you may have become, if you did not have such a “great salvation” in and through Christ. Don’t just shrug and leave it at “I don’t know”. Think through and write down, what would life be like if you were not free and unshackled from the sin with which you struggle, what would life be like if you were not able to have the “peace that passes all understanding”, etc. Just take some time to write your thoughts down.
