Sit, Stand, Bow
Reading:I Peter 5:6, 6Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Sit we need to sit on promoting ourselves. If we are really gifted, the people who want to use our talents will find us. If we were meant to be discovered and used in a significant way God will bring it about. Just as he did for Joseph, sold into obscurity and doomed to rot in a dungeon in Egypt. God raised him up in his time, Genesis 50:30. God will promote you when he determines the time is appropriate.
StandWe need to stand up for others. You can encourage others to be humble by being sensitive to them in their needs. God has called us as men to look out for those who nobody else will.
Bow We need to bow before God. We need to trust him. He doesn’t break his promises. He will lift you up!
