I Will Rejoice!
Reading: Proverbs 15:15, A miserable heart means a miserable life; a cheerful heart fills the day with song.
I have heard the saying, “Life is what you make it!” Well, that means we have a choice. We can choose to have a life full of frustration and fear, but we can just as easily choose joy and contentment. It’s all how you look at it today.
For the Christian, life is a cause to celebrate. As God’s children, we are blessed beyond measure, whether things are going our way or not. This day, today, is a non-refundable day. Once it’s gone… it’s gone forever! Give thanks to God for this day. Show your thanks by using it for the Glory of God.
Don’t let the weight of the world bear down on your shoulders, not today.
God created you in His own image and he wants you to experience joy and purpose. God will not force His joy upon you though; you must claim it for yourself. So, today, choose to think optimistically about your life and your future. Give thanks to the One who has given you so much, and trust in your heart that He wants to give you so much more.
Write out a brief list of what you have to be thankful for?
How will you claim this day for yourself and God to live optimistically and thankfully today?
REVIEW
