New Life

Reading:Colossians 3:3, Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. He is your life.

Do you desire to improve some part of your life? If you do, don’t expect changing circumstances to transform you into the man you’re supposed to be. Transformation starts with god. God’s hand has the power to transform your day and your life. Our job is to receive. Christ’s love and grace. Then humbly give God thanks for your “New Life”.

Every good story has a beginning. It must start in the quiet corner of a willing heart. Find a still moment to tell God how you feel about Him. Be quiet long enough to hear Him and what He feels about you.

Bill Hybels once said, “God’s omniscience can instill you with a supernatural confidence than can transform your life…”

Remember, brother, the old is gone; the new life begins today.

What are some of the “old life” that you can see is still a part of your life or has crept back in?

Go to God, repent of those things and give them over to Him today.

How can you, not simply say, “I’m sorry” to God, but find ways to completely turn from those old ways and embrace God and the new life today?
REVIEW

Were you able to let go and turn from the “old life” today, if so, how?

How were you able to embrace the new life that God has for you today?
