Topical Bible Study
Topic
With a Topical Bible study, it will be important to use either a Bible Concordance or go online for a Biblical word/topic search. Some Bibles even have a concordance in the back. You can select a topic in the Bible and look in the concordance for all of the passages in which that topic is discussed. You can then see a common denominator for the way that the word/topic is used in the Bible, then answer the following questions.

What role did this topic play in the Old Testament?
What role did this topic play in the New Testament?
What role does this topic play in a Christian’s life?
What role does this topic play in the non-Christian’s life?
Is this topic relevant today and what role can and should it play today?
Your impression of a Biblical definition of the topic:
Were all of your original questions answered regarding the topic?
What role can this topic play in your life and how can you communicate that to others?
