Reading: Romans 6:6-7, 12-14, 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
Before you start your week, analyze your life and where you are right now. You do not have to become overwhelmed and overtaken by the sin that you are struggling with right now.
Be completely honest with yourself, what sin are you struggling with right now? (be specific)
Have any of these become a stronghold or a sin that you have become a slave to. If so, which one(s)?
What do you intend to do today to regain the freedom from these areas of sin that Christ, with His ultimate sacrifice, conquered for you?
NOTE: don’t be afraid to share what your struggling with for accountability and support.
REVIEW
Were you able to have victory over the sin(s) with which you have been struggling?
