I can apply this scripture to my life by simply not watching certain programs or listening to certain music that would compromise my walk with God. There are venues in the media and entertainment world that are contrary to the word of God. And if we watch or listen to these programs, usually so do our children. We are instructed to raise up a child in the way he should go. Our children copy every thing we do.
