Reading: James 1:19-21, 19My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. 21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

How did you do in applying God’s Word today?

  1. I can apply this scripture to my life by simply not watching certain programs or listening to certain music that would compromise my walk with God. There are venues in the media and entertainment world that are contrary to the word of God. And if we watch or listen to these programs, usually so do our children. We are instructed to raise up a child in the way he should go. Our children copy every thing we do.
