Reading: Ecclesiastes 4:9, Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:

How would you define a friend?

The dictionary defines the word friend as “a person who is attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.”

This definition is okay, I guess, but when I think of a friend, a few more descriptions come to mind: loyal, helpful, trustworthy, honest, encourager, joyful…” just to mention a few.

What friends has God placed in your path with whom you are able to battle life?

Have you thanked God for them lately?

Have you been a blessing to them?

C.S. Lewis said, “True friends don’t spend time gazing at each other. They show great tenderness toward each other, but they face in the same direction toward common projects, interests, goals, and above all, toward a common Lord.
