Happily Insulted?
Reading:Matthew 5: 11, 12 – “Happy are you when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against you because you are my followers. Be happy and glad, for a great reward is kept for you in heaven. This is how the prophets who lived before you were persecuted.”
I recently sat at breakfast with a couple friends and we spoke about how our society has changed. It has come so far from a “God-centered” society and lifestyle. We live in a world where not only is a blind eye turned to much of the immorality out there, but it is frowned upon to be a man who speaks openly of his faith and his beliefs. Do not be afraid to speak of God in our daily lives. Let your family and friends know that we make our choices for a reason, and the reason is God.
Is God worth any amount of ridicule that you may take from others for sharing your faith and beliefs?
Why is God worth it?
Take a moment to pray and ask God to lay someone on your heart to share your faith with today.
Who did God lay on your heart?
How can you show your faith to that person today?
REVIEW
Were you able to share your faith with someone today?
How did it transpire? What was the result?
